February CPCU Networking, Luncheon, and Educational Meeting
Application of Investigative and Forensic Tools to the Ubiquitous Slip and Fall Claim
Slip and falls account for 37,000 deaths annually in the United States, only second to automobile accidents. However, the science behind slips and falls and how it can be best utilized in evaluating a slip and fall claim for liability determination and merit, is not well known. This presentation is designed to discuss the investigative approach along with effective forensic tools available to ensure you are documenting the loss and making decisions with defensible science. A demonstration on measuring a floorings traction level, or coefficient or friction, will be a part the presentation.
CPCU designation not required for attendance!
Meeting fees: Cash or Checks made payable to "California El Camino Chapter of CPCU" are accepted
