The California El Camino CPCU Chapter Lunch & Learn Meeting
Topic: The DNA of Fire Investigations – NFPA 921 – Sword or Shield
This program takes the "mystery" out of Fire Investigations. You’ll hear and see visually compelling fire cases to illustrate effective forensic fire investigations. The discussion evolves into the evaluation & utilization of experts and challenging their findings. Is the fire expert qualified and familiar with the requirements for conducting a proper scientific investigation? The insurance claims professional's responsibilities extend beyond the technical ability to resolve issues of coverage, liability, and damages. The process of investigation, evaluation and resolution is one that relies on good judgment to discharge their contractual responsibilities to their customers. This session is designed to provide insurance professionals with the proper tools and perspective to evaluate and utilize the right experts on their cases.
