Final Countdown Begins for Orlando — You Still Have Time to Register

In about three weeks, more than 1,800 people — including CPCU Society members, new designees and their guests — will arrive in Orlando for the 66th Annual Meeting and Seminars. An analysis of the Deepwater Horizon catastrophe and its implications for the industry are among the topics at the Reinsurance Interest Group’s reinsurance symposium on Oct. 21 in Dallas, Texas. Other planned segments include an executive panel of reinsurance buyers, providers and brokers on the state of the industry and what keeps them awake at night; reinsurance information technology (IT) trends; and a cocktail reception. A Brand New Look

Now, with cleaner, more streamlined Web pages and drop-down menus, visitors can more easily navigate the Society’s website to quickly find resources and topics of interest. And secondary pages utilizing expandable left-hand menus provide the same benefit. Search options allow visitors to promptly narrow down searches. Through a new feature called “Share” (below the left-hand menu), visitors can bookmark and share information with others on social media sites. Check it out.
