September Visibility Spotlight Winner "Spreads the Word!" in Business Insurance |
Tami L. Singer, CPCU, CIC, a commercial lines underwriting manager of the Los Angeles branch of Burns and Wilcox, was featured in Business Insurance magazine in the July 2 issue's "Up Close" section. Business Insurance, a weekly trade magazine, boasts a circulation of 43,000!
Tami, who is a treasurer of the Society's El Camino Chapter, serving her second term, received her designation in 1995. She lives in Moorpark, CA.
"The Business Insurance feature came to me as somewhat of a surprise," said Tami. "I was flattered, actually. They approached me to do the feature as an up and coming insurance professional."
The highlight of the Business Insurance article was definitely the following quote by Tami. "The best advice I've ever received was to get my CPCU. It has opened many doors for me." |
Tami says her greatest reward spreading the word about the CPCU is driving more recognition to all the hard work and dedication that is involved in obtaining the designation.
She also attends most local insurance events, such as her chapter's I-Day, IBA West events, and other chapter meeting and activities.
"I'm always promoting CPCU as a value added to any individual!"
| Thanks,Tami, and to all CPCUs, for your continued effort to "Spread the Word!" about the CPCU designation! |
